Each of these are highly contagious illnesses and we are working hard to limit the spread in our community. If you are experiencing fever, cough, rash, or known exposure to one of these illnesses, please call from your car to check-in for your appointment (828-254-2444). Measles:
Measles is a serious viral illness that can cause complications even in healthy individuals. The best protection against this illness is the MMR vaccine. Unfortunately there has been a lot of inaccurate information about both measles and the MMR vaccine which protects against it. Inaccurate information is harmful. It is our commitment at Community Family Practice to work against inaccurate information that could potentially cause our patients harm. Follow this link which provides helpful information not only about measles but some myths which have been circulating about it. More About Measles
